e+m Holzprodukte was first founded by Mr Konrad Ehmann in 1899 and was then Germany´s largest manufacturer of nib penholders. Due to World War 2, production was stopped and the business was only active again in 1983 when Mr. Wolfram Mümmler, the fourth generation of the founder family, restarted the production of wooden writing instruments. The aim of e+m Holzprodukte is to keep the old traditions of classical manufacturing alive and to transform them into the modern production process.
